Day 1
Leave Germany for Budapest. Overnight in Budapest.
Day 2
7:00 Leave for Romania
11:00 Arrive Romanian border
13:00 Noon meal in Adam-Mueller-Guttenbrunn-Haus in Temesvar
Afternoon free
19:00 Attend German-language performance at German theater.
Overnight in Temesvar.
Day 3
9:00 Temesvar city tour. Visit cathedray, Freilichtmusem and
Baraganhaus in Jagdwald.
12:30 Noon meal in Jagdwald
15:30 Coffee social in Adam-Mueller-Guttenbrunn-Haus. Performance by
the Banat youth dance group, "Banater Rosemarein.
Overnight in Temesvar
Day 4
9:00 Visit Hatzfeld - Jaeger memorial, Dr. Diel Haus, etc.
13:00 Noon meal in Hatzfeld
15:00 Visit Lenauheim
Overnight in Temesvar
Day 5
9:00 Leave for Guttenbrunn
12:30 Noon meal in Lipova
15:00 Tour Maria Radna
Overnight in Temesvar
Day 6
8:00 Leave for world famous health spa, Herkulesbad. Visit the
Empress Sissy's suite, walking tour of the resort.
12:00 noon meal
14:00 Leave for Turnu Severin
16:00 Arrive Turnu Severin. Visit the Iron-Gate Museum and tour the
city.
Overnight in Turnu Severin.
Day 7
8:00 Depart for Orschowa. Cruise on the Danube.
12:00 Noon meal in Werschetz in Jugoslavia.
14:00 Visit Werschetz mountain, cathedral, etc.
17:00 Continue to Betschkerek.
Overnight in Betschkerek/Zrenjanin.
Day 8
8:00 Depart for Jugoslav capital of Belgrade.
9:00 Arrive Belgrade. Tour Kalamegdan fortress and pedestrian zone on
Knez Mihailova Street.
13:00 Noon meal
15:00 Leave for Zemun to visit Aviation Museum in Zemun and airfield
in Surtschin.
18:00 Return to Betschkerek. Evening meal and overnight in hotel.
Day 9
9:00 Visit mass graves at Rudolfsgnad/Knicanin.
13:00 Noon meal at Carska bara.
15:00 Visit Nature preserve at Cartska bara with cruise on reservoir.
18:00 Return to Betschkerek. Evening meal and overnight in hotel.
Day 10
9:00 Leave for Neusatz/Novi Sad.
10:00 Visit Vojvodina parliament, walking tour on Dunavska ulica.
13:00 Noon meal
15:00 Tour of Petrovaradin fortress and pilgrimage church Maria
Schnee. Leave for Subotica.
19:00 Arrive at hotel near Subotica. Room assignment and time to
freshen up.
20:30 Evening meal at Restaurant Alaska.
Overnight at hotel
Day 11
9:00 Visit Gakowa, Sombor, and Apatin.
13:00 Noon meal at a Fish restaurant in Apatin. Walking tour along
the Danube.
16:00 Return to Subotica. Visit the horse stud farm, Zobnatica, on
the way.
Evening meal at Restaurant "Gulasch Tscharda" at Palic.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 12
8:00 Return to Budapest. Afternoon in St. Andrae.
18:00 Return to hotel for overnight in hotel.
Day 13
4:30 Return to Germany
